BFDI: Branches v0.2 - Power of Four Update patch notes

Introducing… Aimbot
Long ago, the Aimbots were commissioned as defense turrets in the military. Now, these veterans have been asked to come back to the battlefield one last time by a particularly pentagonal speaker box. These robots will fire their projectile laser beams at any player who comes near, locking on with perfect accuracy. They have developed protective armor to prevent a quick defeat like other enemies, being able to tank not two, not four, but three hits! If those facts already make you want to wave your white flag, hold onto your helmets for a moment. They are well trained to jog with heavy equipment, but stay still because they were trained to never surrender their post, allowing swift players to sneak in enough hits to defeat them. And if you think Aimbots are cheating… I don't know, have you tried getting good?
Fun fact: Aimbots have the ability to scale the Eiffel Tower with nothing but a jar of peanut butter and a ballpoint pen.
Introducing… Quickscope
The Quickscopes believe there are two types of people: the quick and the dead. Triple agents by day and quadruple agents by night, they've got a license to kill anyone who manages to figure out what that means. Prepared to win by any means necessary, they aim their laser beams at the player continuously in burst fire mode, making them one of the toughest enemies in Goiky. These expert sharpshooters have trained thousands of hours in aiming simulations, with enough aim to hit the broad side of a barn—on the Moon! And you better think twice about the old stomp-and-instantly-win trick, since they've reverse-engineered the Aimbots' triple armor technology as well. If you cross paths with these world-famous top-secret agents after they've seen you… then it's probably already too late.
Fun fact: Quickscopes like their juice boxes shaken, not stirred.
Patch Notes
Features:
- Added local multiplayer for 2-4 players. Multiplayer is local only; to play multiplayer online, use a local streaming program such as Parsec instead.
- Added Linux port
- New Story mode level variants: Multiplayer Tutorial and Multiplayer versions of World 1 levels
- New level editor features:
- If an element has multiple variants, it will be denoted by a plus icon appearing upon clicking it.
- Tab variants have been added, which is available for Tab 2. It can be accessed by clicking on Tab 2, Tab 2's plus icon, or the 2 key multiple times to cycle through tab variants.
- Pillar now autotiles (formerly 3D Pillar Top/Center/Bottom)
- Camera, Region, and Biggify tiles have been moved from Tab 5 to a new Tab 7
- Fade tiles now autotile. This can be done by placing the new Fade Attachment tile around the inner border of the Fade titles, which will automatically orient them.
- Added [character_uppercase] in BBCode
- Added NPC BBCode previews
- Region tiles are now color-coded
- Character-restricting levels is now independent of level icon
- Routine names are now displayed
- New level editor elements (listed below)

- Save data will be migrated to a consistent location. This means BFDI: Branches can then be safely opened with a shortcut.
- Added Open Levels Folder button to Create mode. This will open BFDI: Branches' levels folder in the file browser on your computer.
- New levels folder created for Create mode. Click the Toggle Legacy Folder button to switch between level folders.
- The pause menu for Create and Online Levels mode has an added Editor button.
- Added "Events" tab for Online Levels. This will be used for events in the future.
- The Online Levels filter button has been changed to tabs. (All, Spotlight, and Events)
- The Big Red Button in single player has had its arrow changed to prevent Leafy from uncrouching and trapping herself.
- Coiny's Roll Like a Wheel can now be buffered.
- Jump-cancelling Coiny's Roll Like a Wheel can now be buffered.
- Jumping after Pin's Pin Stab (side attack) can now be buffered.
- The Win Token UI in single player has been changed to display in numbers and now supports displaying over 10 Win Tokens. This was also changed to prevent misunderstanding the order of Win Tokens.
- Added Yellow Face PFP Shop. Click the shop sign to swap between Gelatin's Shop and Yellow Face Shop.
- PFP descriptions are now viewable in the PFP Shop.
- Added PFP Frames; these will be unlocked by achievements in the future.
- Dream Points are now displayed when viewing profiles and in Profile Settings.
- Patreon members level 2 or higher can now change their username color in-game from the profile inventory.
- Alt keybinds added for use in multiplayer
- Added "Ability" keybind for Coiny's Roll Like a Wheel and Pin's Pin Stab attacks (E and V for Main and Alt controls respectively by default on QWERTY United States English keyboards). The "Up" keybind is now split into the "Up" and "Ability" keybinds. They can optionally be bound to the same key (replicating previous controls).
- Title screen updated:
- Settings menu and Credits moved to the redesigned bottom right of the title screen
- Profile menu moved to the left of the title screen
- News button added to the title screen; this feature will be implemented in the future.
- Added exit button to the title screen (bye!)

Bug Fixes:
- Characters can be selected with a controller - use Run button to cycle characters
- Player hitboxes have been slightly changed. Players can now fit into a teleporter in a 2-block-tall area.
- Fixed Conveyor Belt sides affecting players
- Story mode difficulty indicators no longer block clicks on the play button
- Fixed lasting damage from Spike Blocks
- Fixed Death Spike Blocks being not death in i-frames
